The Jake McGuire Savage Foundation
A nonprofit charitable organization established by Jake
Savage's family to honor his brief life, his music, his lyrics
The Foundation promotes the social and
educational development of economically-challenged young people through the
creative outlet of music. Young musicians are supported in a variety of musical
pursuits, including composition, performance, recording, music technology and
exposure to musical events. Because of Jake's love for music and his own
ambition to become a professional musician, it is appropriate to continue his
passion by funding related activities for other aspiring musicians who did not
have Jake's economic advantages, allowing him to be remembered in a spirit of
compassion and generosity.
